MEDWAY NEIGHBOURHOOD
WATCH ASSOCIATION
A Registered Charity Working Together
For a Safer Medway
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2010
The Association’s Annual General Meeting was held on Tuesday 14th September at the Rainham School for Girls and was well attended by Coordinators and representatives of 90 watches.

The guest speaker was Chief Inspector Mark Arnold who brought us up to date with many planned strategies and assured us that, despite the difficult decisions that will have to be made because of the anticipated cutbacks, effective and efficient policing in Medway will be maintained.

The Chairman, Mr David Duncombe, announced that the first recipient of the John Reed Memorial Award was to be our NW Liaison Officer, John Haddaway for his untiring work and dedication to the NW ethos.  This was very warmly and enthusiastically applauded.

There was a very useful opportunity, during the refreshment break, for delegates to chat and exchange ideas and the whole meeting proved to be very successful.
